Descriptions

Our current classroom fits up to 8 students. Expect personalized attention in each of the classes below.

Current Class Schedule*

Gentle Restorative - Great for beginners, those who are injured or those wishing to experience a slower yoga practice. Using props, yoga postures and breathing techniques to reduce stress and stretch and relax muscles. Most postures done with the support of the wall or a chair.

EveryBody’s Yoga 1 - This class focuses on yoga warmups and some basic yoga postures, breathing techniques and abdominal/core work to stretch and strengthen your body and relieve overall tension. A class for EveryBody where postures are modified according to each student’s ability. Great for first timers, beginners and practiced students who would like to experience a basic yoga class with a balance of gentle stretching, fluid movement and strength building postures.

EveryBody’s Yoga 2 - Similar to EveryBody’s Yoga 1 with more challenge, more postures and longer holdings. Great for beginners and intermediate students alike.

EveryBody’s Yoga 1/2-Combined class for beginner/intermediate level students.

Ashtanga Primary Series- A strenuous practice designed to strengthen and tone the whole body. Yogic postures (Asana) are intimately connected to our breath creating a sense moving meditation and yielding access to the inner realms of consciousness.  The primary series begins with a vigorous warm up (sun salutations) followed by traditional standing postures; then moves onto seated poses that incorporate the heat generating sun salutations and finishes with a closing sequence of inversions designed to return the body to its resting state. Ashtanga yoga uses a traditional method of hands on guidance that helps students into their best expression of asana. This method ensures that every student receives individual guidance within a group setting. While the primary series is suitable for any able body, those with prior yoga experience will be the most comfortable with the pacing and intensity of this practice.

Yoga for Curvy Figures (Workshop format only)- Yoga isn’t just for athletes. EveryBody can do it! Learn to move and practice yoga in a self compassionate, loving and safe way that fits YOUR unique, curvy and fuller figured body.  Learn how to use props and yoga posture modifications that are safe and effective. Expect to move at a slow to moderate pace. For women only. With Kimberly Beroset. The next Yoga for Curvy Figures workshop is on Satuday, May1st from 1 pm-4 pm.
